Path leading to the Garden of Remembrance at St Laurence's Church
We are pleased that the path to the Garden of Remembrance is nearly complete! Unfortunately the weather has delayed progress, but the steps can be used and the Garden is now accessible.
The cost to the Church is over £22,000. Our thanks go to David Cuthbertson, the new owner of the building, whose generosity has greatly supported the work without which the cost to the Church would be considerably more."

We are St George and St Laurence's Church, a lively Anglican Church in Middleton St George, near Darlington in the Diocese of Durham.
Currently we are in vacancy (we do not have a vicar for the parish) but lay leaders and the PCC organise worship and activities in the community.
Please have a look around our website to find out a bit more about us.
If you'd like to get to know us in person (and we hope you will), please join us for any of our usual Sunday morning services.
We have two places of worship:
St George’s Academy (is where our weekly worship takes place at 10:45am every Sunday)
and the medieval church of St George, Low Middleton.
Please see the information on the Our Churches tab.
We are linked with the Riverside parishes, which includes: All Saints Hurworth, St John the Baptist Low Dinsdale and All Saints Girsby. https://www.allsaintshurworth.org
