Following the successful tidy up of the churchyard, the Garden of Remembrance now looks splendid with the new steps for easier access. We do hope your visit to the Garden is a good time for reflection.

We are St George and St Laurence's Church, a lively Anglican Church in Middleton St George, near Darlington in the Diocese of Durham.
Currently we are in vacancy (we do not have a vicar for the parish) but lay leaders and the PCC organise worship and activities in the community.
Please have a look around our website to find out a bit more about us.
If you'd like to get to know us in person (and we hope you will), please join us for any of our usual Sunday morning services.

The Riverside Churches Joint Vision Statement
“We are rooted in, and motivated by, our faith. We seek to share God's love for all by reaching out to our communities through acts of generous and loving service to meet the spiritual and practical needs we encounter. Through this, both we, and our communities, will be transformed by the power of Christ.”
We have two places of worship:
St George’s Academy (is where our weekly worship takes place at 10:00am every Sunday)
and the medieval church of St George, Low Middleton.
Please see the information on the Our Churches tab.
We are linked with the Riverside parishes, which includes: All Saints Hurworth, St John the Baptist Low Dinsdale and All Saints Girsby. https://www.allsaintshurworth.org
