** NEWS ! ** Planned path leading to the Garden of Remembrance at St Laurence's Church
"We are delighted to announce that at long last work has started on the planned path leading to the Garden of Remembrance at St Laurence's Church. Once completed, we hope you will enjoy using this new facility as you visit your loved ones' ashes burial place.
The cost to the Church is over £22,000. Our thanks go to David Cuthbertson, the new owner of the building, whose generosity has greatly supported the work without which the cost to the Church would be considerably more."

We are St George and St Laurence's Church, a lively Anglican Church in Middleton St George, near Darlington in the Diocese of Durham.
Currently we are in vacancy (we do not have a vicar for the parish) but lay leaders and the PCC organise worship and activities in the community.
Please have a look around our website to find out a bit more about us.
If you'd like to get to know us in person (and we hope you will), please join us for any of our usual Sunday morning services.
We have two places of worship:
St George’s Academy (is where our weekly worship takes place at 10:45am every Sunday)
and the medieval church of St George, Low Middleton.
Please see the information on the Our Churches tab.
We are linked with the Riverside parishes, which includes: All Saints Hurworth, St John the Baptist Low Dinsdale and All Saints Girsby. https://www.allsaintshurworth.org
